Pyrethrum FS is a rapidly and broadly effective biological insecticide. This natural product can be used on cultivated and ornamental plants against feeding and sap-sucking pests, namely aphids, whiteflies, thrips, spider mites, frost moths and other caterpillars.

Description

Pyrethrum FS is an insecticide concentrate with the active ingredient pyrethrin. This is obtained from flowers of a chrysanthemum species (Tanacetum cinerariifolium).

Pyrethrum FS can be used against the specified pests in the following crops:

Fruits and berries: aphids, frost moth
Vegetables: aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, thrips
Culinary herbs: aphids, spider mites, thrips, caterpillars
Ornamental plants: aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, thrips, caterpillars

The concentrate is diluted with water in a sprayer. Infested plant parts are sprayed on all sides and until dripping wet. If the leaves are already rolled up, we recommend using NeemAzal-T/S. For targeted control of leaf-eating caterpillars, we recommend dolphin® against caterpillars or dolphin® against boxwood moth.

6 portions of 0.25 ml each is sufficient for 6 x 0.5 l spray liquid.

Please note: Treatments should be carried out outdoors in the evening or under overcast skies, as the active ingredient degrades quickly in sunlight. Pyrethrum FS is not gentle on beneficial insects and is toxic to fish.
